Competent for the supervision of the implementation of the provisions of Law 4557\/2018, as amended, the following Authorities and Bodies are designated by the obliged persons:<\/p>\r\n
The Bank of Greece<\/a> for:<\/p>\r\n
\u2022 credit institutions,
\u2022 insurance companies and insurance intermediaries,
\u2022 financial leasing companies,
\u2022 third party business claims agency companies,
\u2022 credit institution receivables management companies from loans and credits,
\u2022 credit companies,
\u2022 electronic money institutions,
\u2022 payment institutions,
\u2022 the postal companies, in terms of the payment services provided,
\u2022 currency exchanges,
\u2022 the companies referred to in item 3 of article 3,
\u2022 microfinance institutions.<\/p>\r\n
The Capital Market Commission<\/a> for:<\/p>\r\n
\u2022 portfolio investment companies until their introduction to a regulated market or multilateral trading mechanism,
\u2022 fund management companies,
\u2022 investment service companies and their affiliated agents,
\u2022 investment brokerage companies,
\u2022 venture capital companies until their listing on a regulated market or Multilateral Trading Mechanism,
\u2022 real estate investment companies until their introduction to a regulated market or multilateral trading mechanism,
\u2022 managers of alternative investment organizations,
\u2022 providers of exchange services between virtual currencies and fiat currencies,
\u2022 digital wallet custodian service providers.
The Securities and Exchange Commission maintains a register of providers of exchange services between virtual currencies and fiat currencies, as well as digital wallet custodian services.<\/p>\r\n
By decision of the Capital Market Commission, specific issues regarding its observance and operation are regulated, as well as the supporting documents that the aforementioned providers are obliged to submit for their registration.<\/p>\r\n
The Hellenic Police Headquarters<\/a> for pawnbrokers and moneylenders.<\/p>\r\n
The Commission for Accounting Standardization and Audits<\/a> for certified public accountants and companies of certified public accountants, registered in the public register of the Commission for Accounting Standardization and Audits, as well as for private auditors.<\/p>\r\n
The Independent Public Revenue Authority (A.A.D.E.)<\/a> for:<\/p>\r\n
\u2022 external tax accountants, legal entities providing accounting-tax services, as well as any other person who undertakes to provide, either directly or through other related persons, material assistance, assistance or advice regarding tax matters, as a main business or professional activity,
\u2022 real estate brokers,
\u2022 traders and auctioneers of high value goods.<\/p>\r\n
